About Parker's Promise
Parker's Promise LLC is an independent living housing program in Miami-Dade County. We provide stable, furnished shared and private rooms for veterans, older adults and women rebuilding after abuse, with optional, non-medical support.
Stable housing can change the direction of a life.
Parker's Promise was created around a simple idea: stable housing can change the direction of someone's life. Our goal is to give adults who can live independently a safe, respectful place to call home while they work toward greater stability and independence.
We serve veterans, older adults and women rebuilding after abuse through separate residences designed around dignity, privacy and independent living. We're a housing program, not a treatment or care organization, and we believe that a steady home, clear expectations and a little practical help go a long way.
Our name carries our tagline: Second chance. New beginnings.
What guides us
A housing program, by design
- Each program has its own home. The Women's Residence is a separate, women-only home at a confidential address.
- We provide housing and optional, non-medical support only. Residents arrange any care they need from outside providers.
- Residents sign a residency agreement, house rules and a Scope of Services acknowledgment, so everyone knows what to expect.
- We work with outside organizations, such as VA services, domestic violence centers and community agencies, through referrals.
- We protect residents' privacy and never confirm to anyone whether a person lives with us.
Important: Parker's Promise is an independent living housing program, not a medical or care provider. We do not provide medical, nursing, personal care, medication, mental health, counseling or treatment services, and our staff are not medical professionals. Residents arrange any care they need from outside providers of their choice. In an emergency, call 911. Read our Scope of Services.
