Programs

Our Programs

Three independent living residences, each with its own home and house rules. Every program offers furnished shared and private rooms, with optional, non-medical support.

Veterans Residence

A respectful, structured home for those who served.

Who it's for

U.S. military veterans who manage or arrange their own daily care. A DD-214 helps, but you can apply without one.

What's included

  • Furnished shared or private room, utilities, Wi-Fi and laundry
  • Connections to VA, employment and community resources
  • Referrals to a county Veteran Service Officer for free help with VA claims
  • An optional Resident Goal Plan you set and review with staff

Good to know

  • Health care is provided by the VA or your own providers, not by Parker's Promise
  • No overnight guests and no pets (service and assistance animals are welcome as accommodations)

Senior Residence

Low-maintenance living for older adults.

Who it's for

Older adults who manage their own care or arrange it from outside providers, such as a home health aide they hire.

What's included

  • Single-level home with furnished shared or private rooms
  • Help finding transportation options, such as STS paratransit and ride programs
  • A friendly, shared household
  • An optional Resident Goal Plan you set and review with staff

Good to know

  • Parker's Promise doesn't provide personal care, medication help or nursing
  • If you need daily hands-on care, you can arrange it from an outside provider, or a licensed care setting may suit you better

Women's Residence

A private residence where women rebuilding after abuse can regain stability, independence and confidence while planning their next chapter.

Who it's for

Women who have left an abusive situation and no longer need emergency shelter.

What's included

  • Furnished shared or private room in a women-only home
  • Confidential address, shared only after acceptance
  • Referrals to certified domestic violence centers for safety planning, advocacy and legal help
  • An optional Resident Goal Plan you set and review with staff

Good to know

  • Parker's Promise is a housing program, not a domestic violence center, shelter or counseling service
  • No guests at the house, to keep everyone safe
  • Contact us from a safe phone or computer, and tell us if it isn't safe to leave a message
